Joseph “JD” Berzolla is an aspiring engineer and innovator with a passion for combining technology, leadership, and creativity to address real-world challenges. Based in Colonia, New Jersey, JD is a high-achieving student with a GPA of 3.7688 at Colonia High School and experience in advanced STEM coursework, including 14 college-level and AP courses. His dedication to research is exemplified by his work on anti-collision algorithms for autonomous vehicles, a project inspired by personal loss and driven by a commitment to improving safety and technology integration.
Beyond academics, JD thrives in leadership roles, whether mentoring youth as an Associate Ice Hockey Coach or managing luxury design projects as a Junior Project Manager at Inspired Interiors LLC. His accolades include first place in the Science Fair for Mathematics, Technology, and Computer Science, and conference championships as part of varsity hockey teams.
